The Coolest Boomerang Booth for Metro by T-Mobile Ever!

When it comes to brand awareness, the way to gain attention is to keep people entertained. This is exactly what we did when we were invited recently to take part in a photoactivation for Metro by T-Mobile. This event was a part of the recent UFC fight night and took place at the Target Center. With only a few days to prepare, we created the coolest boomerang booth for Metro by T-Mobile Ever!

The First Round

This is a client that we loved working with and hope to work with again in the future. Metro by T-Mobile contacted us stating that they had a custom photo op set up for Fight Night at the Target Center. They were looking for a way to make it more fun and needed us to capture people posing with an actual UFC championship belt! 

We were thrilled by the idea. Our creative energy consumed us and we thought it was so cool to have an actual UFC belt as a prop. Therefore, we happily offered our Boomerang kiosk as well as some branding added in for added brand awareness and pizzazz.

Round Two Kicks In

Before the event opened, we showed up with our equipment and set everything in place. Once people began to arrive, the real pre-UFC Fight Night party started. Once people discovered that they could take photos, GIFs, and Boomerangs with a real UFC Championship belt, they were excited. They also enjoyed having the option to text the images and GIFs to themselves and share them instantly on social media.

With a consistent line at all times, the turnout was amazing. Even the background with T-Mobile and Metro logos made the “fight photos” more impressive. It made them feel like true champions for a moment and they will feel like champions every time they see their boomerangs.

During the time we were there, more than 500 photos and boomerangs were captured. People were laughing, sharing, and coming back for a second photo op.

Round Three: The End Result

When people stepped out of the photo booth, they had created their own memories of the event. They were walking out of the photo area with a smile. Their photos and GIFs were shared so that family and friends would be envious of all the fun they missed out on. In the future, at another UFC Fight Night, those friends may decide to take part in it, as well as other events hosted by Metro and T-Mobile.

Neon Photo Booth “Rocked the Gala” this November

When you think of the 80s, what comes to mind? Neon colors, big hair, cassette tapes, and preppy sunglasses. Now imagine yourself at an 80s party, dressed to kill, and posing for some totally rad photos under the neon lights…We can make that dream a reality; with a neon photo booth!

Rock the Gala Goes 80s

The 2019 Rock the Gala party for the Results Foundation rocked out at the Lumber Exchange Event Center in Minneapolis. As this was an 80s-themed party, the guests were invited to dress in glam rock attire and be prepared for a gnarly good time. We brought our open style photo booth, so guests could get an awesome memento of their evening in the rocking 80s!

A Neon Photo Booth Made Especially for the Party

We added some pizzazz to our photo booth by equipping it with neon lights. The bright lights shone across the guests’ faces as they posed, creating a look worthy of the 1980s. Since many of the guests were already dressed up 80s-style, the neon glam really added to the shiny, disco-like effect. Our photo props added to the fun by supplying the guests with funky wigs, oversized mics, rocking-good hats, megaphones, and beautiful big sunglasses. We enjoyed snapping the photos almost as much as the guests enjoyed posing!

Open Style Photo Booth Wedding at the Minikahda Club

Modern weddings have both the liberty and luxury to try new things, which can be a fantastic way to make the event stand out. It also makes us excited, as a photo booth business, to work with such original and unique concepts, which can turn out quite beautiful. One wedding at the Minikahda Club particularly stood out. It featured an open style photo booth with a custom backdrop designed by Event Lab. It perfectly blended with the occasion’s theme and helped create an array of genuinely fine photos.

 

A Lush, Classical Scene

The wedding itself was classically themed with the perfect blend of white, ivory, and greenery adorning nearly every aspect. The backdrop that was used worked immensely well with these colors. It was the bride’s idea to pose on a couch with a hedge wall in the background, which worked nicely for both large and small groups. The couch itself was ivory, which, along with the hedge, matched the rest of the wedding perfectly. The couple even ordered the creation of a custom monogram for their photo strips that fit in just as seamlessly. It was a one-of-a-kind display that blended and balanced every aspect with natural elegance.

Every year we are thrilled to work at the HeartLink Gala event in the Twin Cities. This upscale gala raises money for Children’s HeartLink, based in Minneapolis.
