Earlier this month, we were honored to provide a vintage photo booth rental in Minneapolis at The Hutton House wedding of Ava and Don. The wedding was a beautiful mix of whimsical and boho décor and our vintage photo booth fit in perfectly. Custom designed to look elegant and classic, it had all the modern equipment to produce the highest quality images and it prints large photo strips within 15 seconds.

We created a custom photo strip that complimented the wedding décor of the couple because the photo booth should not be an afterthought! We are able to make sure that the experience is not only fun but also upscale and unique to each couple.

Photo Booth and Event Safety Measures During COVID-19

If you have been invited to an event recently or have been thinking about planning your own gathering, it’s likely that the question of safety would be on your mind. How are events looking these days? What are vendors doing to protect you? Is it safe to use a photo booth? While so many questions arise, one thing remains certain – celebrations and events are looking different at this time. From downsizing to following the new safety guidelines, most of the events need to be restructured or planned with additional considerations. So how exactly do celebrations look after we implement all the current safety measures? We’d say more intimate and just as beautiful if you look at our recent graduation party at the beautiful Hutton House.  Designed and executed by White Peacock Events, this event provided a stunning space for the client and their guests to enjoy their special occasion while following all the current CDC guidelines.

Photo Booth and Event Safety Measures During COVID-19 at this party included:

    • All vendors submitted their COVID preparedness plans in advance of being in the venue
    • The front entrance doors, as well as the sliding doors to the courtyard, remained open to allow for airflow
    • Set up hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue
    • Installed Plexi shields in front of each bar
    • Signage was placed throughout the venue reminding guests about social distancing
    • Gorgeous lounges and seating arrangements supported social distancing requirements
    • All vendors wore face masks
    • Custom branded face masks were created and for guests to wear
    • Food was butler passed and all individually packaged – slider burgers, mini hot dogs, pizza skewers, etc. Everything was individually packaged so guests could “grab and go” and discard when they were finished
    • Catering staff wore both masks and gloves
    • Check-in guest list at the door to ensure the venue didn’t exceed the number of guests allowed at one time per capacity restrictions in place due to current regulations

As a photo booth company, we eliminated touchpoints for our open style booth – we created a custom photo booth guest book post-event. While we didn’t use any props, our client opted for a magazine cover layout that was not only uniquely customized to them but also eliminated any need for props while still making the experience fun and memorable.

As you can see, times are different, but as professionals, we are here to ease your mind. Each vendor has their own guidelines on keeping you and your guests safe so you can still celebrate and make your celebration uniquely yours!

  • We schedule your virtual event date and time
  • We’ll create a template for your images with your graphic or logo (just like we would if we had an in-person event) so that it’s branded from top to bottom
  • Spread the word! Tell your employees to take selfies; guests can use a Snapchat or Instagram camera if they want to add any filters or text to their pictures
  • Your employees send a text message with their photo to a unique phone number
  • Your branded template gets added to images that are sent to this number
  • We post all of the images to your online gallery and/or create a guest book – we even have the ability to create a digital mosaic

We absolutely love working at Aria in Minneapolis! This trendy event location combines old-world elegance with new world chic. The Aria features stunning exposed brick, pop art accents, and crystal chandeliers. This historic location was the perfect setting for Kaylee and Kramer to have their epic wedding with an open style photo booth, shortly after Christmas.

Sparkly Winter Wedding

The wedding of Kaylee and Kramer was filled with young adults ready to share their fun on social media. This was a Christmas wedding chalked full of sparkles and the old world charm of the Aria Event Center. The open style photo booth was an excellent choice for this social media-savvy group. The booth delivered the highest quality photography while fitting in with the feel of the wedding.

Event planner Nikki Hill ensured the happy couple and their guests were transformed into a winter wonderland. Pink, gold, and black were the highlighted colors of the evening and the open-concept venue felt cozy and inviting with Nikki’s expertly added decorations and ambiance.

A Unique Idea for Aerial Photo Activation

The best part about a corporate photo activation, for us, is that they offer so many creative possibilities. Every brand, regardless of what their business provides, has something unique that can be shared in a fun and interesting way. Part of what we do best is bringing a concept to life that gets people excited about the brands they’re sharing. Our recent experience with Leesa Mattress and West Elm furniture store is a great example of showing off how fun an aerial photo activation concept can be.

Mattresses You Can Picture Yourself On

Leesa Mattress and West Elm approached us with the concept of photographing people from above as they laid on the mattresses. It’s a kind of photoactivation is known as an aerial photo booth or overhead photo booth. It was exactly the kind of unique request we love to work on. Not only were people invited to participate in a fun, share-worthy experience, they were also trying the mattress while they did it. Other people could also see the same mattress after it had been shared online. The people who came in were thrilled to get such an interesting photo opportunity.

The great thing about corporate photo activations like this is that they get people excited to share brands they’ve had an experience with. Each photo had the Leesa Mattress and West Elm logo, so people not only saw the mattresses, but they also knew which brand they were and where they could get them. It was a fun way to share both a moment and helpful information for bringing brands and future clients together.

The Coolest Boomerang Booth for Metro by T-Mobile Ever!

When it comes to brand awareness, the way to gain attention is to keep people entertained. This is exactly what we did when we were invited recently to take part in a photoactivation for Metro by T-Mobile. This event was a part of the recent UFC fight night and took place at the Target Center. With only a few days to prepare, we created the coolest boomerang booth for Metro by T-Mobile Ever!

 

The First Round

 

This is a client that we loved working with and hope to work with again in the future. Metro by T-Mobile contacted us stating that they had a custom photo op set up for Fight Night at the Target Center. They were looking for a way to make it more fun and needed us to capture people posing with an actual UFC championship belt! 

 

We were thrilled by the idea. Our creative energy consumed us and we thought it was so cool to have an actual UFC belt as a prop. Therefore, we happily offered our Boomerang kiosk as well as some branding added in for added brand awareness and pizzazz.

 

Round Two Kicks In

 

Before the event opened, we showed up with our equipment and set everything in place. Once people began to arrive, the real pre-UFC Fight Night party started. Once people discovered that they could take photos, GIFs, and Boomerangs with a real UFC Championship belt, they were excited. They also enjoyed having the option to text the images and GIFs to themselves and share them instantly on social media.

 

With a consistent line at all times, the turnout was amazing. Even the background with T-Mobile and Metro logos made the “fight photos” more impressive. It made them feel like true champions for a moment and they will feel like champions every time they see their boomerangs.

 

During the time we were there, more than 500 photos and boomerangs were captured. People were laughing, sharing, and coming back for a second photo op.

 

Round Three: The End Result

 

When people stepped out of the photo booth, they had created their own memories of the event. They were walking out of the photo area with a smile. Their photos and GIFs were shared so that family and friends would be envious of all the fun they missed out on. In the future, at another UFC Fight Night, those friends may decide to take part in it, as well as other events hosted by Metro and T-Mobile.
