Adidas asked for a hashtag overlay and plenty of GIF options, and we delivered! The guests had a great time, with photos both serious and silly. It was a great night for everybody, with a DJ, and instantly made custom t-shirts. The games were a lot of fun, but it was our photos at the green screen that made the night unforgettable.

Recently, we at Time Into Pixels had the pleasure of helping Twin Cities Orthopedic with their 10th annual holiday gathering with one of our open style photo booths with text message sharing. We love helping out with events like these and providing guests with fantastic fun photos to share with their family and friends. One of the things that made this event so special was the digital sharing capabilities of our booth. This allowed guests to receive and share their photos right away after being taken.
A Pleasant Evening Amid Snowy Weather
It was a particularly snowy night, but inside the Minikahda Club where the event was held, it was warm and cozy. Dim lights, candles, and Christmas tree lights provided a comfortably lit atmosphere amid the holiday decorations and festivities. A custom backdrop designed by Girl Friday Creative was waiting for us as we arrived, featuring specially selected colors of dazzling purple and violet hues against a white background, as well as a large acrylic TCO logo spread across it. As the guests socialized and mingled, they were able to get a few glamorous red carpet style photos in front of this backdrop with our event photographer before dinner. Once they left for their dinner and program, our team got to work setting up our open style photo booth with text message sharing. We also added a few holiday props into the mix, giving this formal occasion an extra dash of merrymaking. Our event photographer continued to take photos while the rest of the team made ready to entertain. Once the meal was finished, guests were able to return for more images and were able to receive their printouts on the spot. They were also given the chance to email or text their photos and GIFs to themselves right away. This instant digital sharing is great for posting to social media and getting your pictures without the wait. It was wonderful to provide guests with such convenience amid this perfectly snug gathering on a cold winter night.

Early this November, we flew from Minneapolis to New York City to spend four days at the Javits Convention Center working for an expo before the NYC Marathon. This is the largest running exhibition in the country and we were so excited to partner with the four-year sponsor of the marathon, TCS. Our photo booths were built directly into their expo booth.
Our Booths
We brought two open style photo booths that were a part of the expo booth. We also added six printers and six digital sharing stations for people to email pictures and GIFs to themselves. Attendees were coming to the expo to pick up their race number and explore different running gear, health products, and services before the race. Since our booth was included in the marathon sponsor’s, it was the main photo booth of the expo. We had a busy few days – about 12,500 people attended the expo over the course of a few days!
Once the runners picked up their race numbers, they walked into the expo space and the first thing they saw was our booth. They were able to take photos next to the NYC background and take home photo strips as well as send a digital copy to their emails.
The Race
On the day of the race, we moved to Central Park in a VIP lounge for runners located in Tavern on the Green, an iconic national historic landmark. Our booth was right at the entrance so that runners who had a pass to the VIP area were able to take their photos next to a TCS branded backdrop. Runners with medals and props took photos and celebrate finishing the marathon.
These types of custom photo ops allow for seamless branding in special events and parties. We love working with brands to make a positive impression and help people form memories and bring home beautiful and fun photos from their events.

Custom Photo Booth for Garnier Cosmetics
Brands come to us for creative, meaningful ways to interact with the public. We recently teamed up with Garnier at Mall of America with a custom photo booth and, as expected, it was fabulous!
Garnier knows their customers want to have fun and look good doing it. We were so excited to break ground with them in Bloomington, MN by providing a customized experience for their clients. The shot incorporated a faux foliage setting with branded equipment for Garnier’s new Whole Blends paraben-free shampoo line. After snapping a few glamour shots, visitors submitted their photos to a social media raffle for a chance to win a vacation and a year worth of supplies from Whole Blends. To say the least, it was a successful promo event filled with fun, laughs, and beauty!
Visual content is on the rise for all brands and events. In the world of digital content, photos are simply more accessible and shareable than any other type of media. Images are actually favored by social media algorithms, and feedback shows a preference for visual content among users. Time Into Pixels takes visual content a step further. It was so rewarding to see Garnier supporters (along with passersby) enjoying themselves in the “booth,” and taking the initiative to share this content online. The prize raffle was facilitated by an Instagram hashtag campaign, which became a trend in seconds!
