An event at the Minikahda Club we had the privilege of taking pictures of children sitting on Santa’s lap. Because there were minor children, we cannot show the actual pictures, but imagine little kids eagerly waiting their turn, thinking of all the things they want to ask for. Excited and a little nervous, each one scrambles onto Santa’s lap, keeping an eye on their parents to make sure they’re close. For some, it was the first time, making it even more special. Big, toothless smiles, hesitant eyes, a few tears, and lengthy talks of toys and games were caught on camera, and the parents were able to walk away with copies, both physical and digital. Having the picture in their hand and being able to share it with grandparents, family, friends, and the world on social media immediately made it even more enjoyable. There is no waiting for pictures to be developed, hoping it’s good.
Doing Our Part To Make It Memorable
Beautiful backdrops, lighting, and props all play a part in the feel of each photo. For this event at the Minikahda Club, we used a winter backdrop showing a glistening, snow-covered evergreen tree. A Christmas tree delicately decorated with gold ornaments and tinsel stood next to an antique chair.

The Bacon and Beer Festival
Photo booth rental is a great way to liven up any corporate event, not just private celebrations. Each year, we partner up with the Bacon and Beer Classic Festival in Minneapolis to offer festival-goers an additional treat to remember a wonderful experience. If you’re a fan of the infamous carpool karaoke segments on The Late Late Show with James Corden, you would have loved participating in our recent “Car-aoke” photo activation Minnesota at the Twin Cities Auto Show!

When creative service provider BoldOrange approached us with the idea of developing a carpool karaoke event at the auto show for their client Plug Into Minnesota, we couldn’t wait to get our creative gears turning. We partnered with event planner metroConnections to produce the staging for this completely custom photo booth rental, and the client was beyond pleased with the final product.
To draw attention from the crowd, we positioned four, double-sided, 8-foot signs strategically around the display. They worked like a charm, and before we knew it, we had a line of guests waiting for their turn to rock out in the sleek electric hybrid Chevy Bolt. In an effort to make the song selection an easier process, we provided large signage on an easel with a list of all available song choices. While standing in line, participants were able to scan this list and choose the song that would best showcase their inner Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Journey, Prince, or Rascal Flatts.
Once they informed the attendant of their song selection, guests grabbed their favorite prop choice and headed into the Volt to begin their jam session. Meanwhile, we made sure to capture both a photo and a 20-second video of the group in their rock star glory. Upon completion of their performance, they were able to pick up the printed photo before heading to the sharing kiosk, a convenient feature that allowed them to email themselves the video and photo for sharing purposes.
To keep audience members engaged in the experience, we incorporated an external TV monitor that unveiled the fun going on in the vehicle. This served two great purposes: entertaining the audience and encouraging their participation. It’s hard to pass up the opportunity to take home such a memorable keepsake from an event.
The carpool karaoke experience was such a hit that it even garnered attention from local media station Kare 11 and the “Morning Buzz Show” on Fox 9.

All eyes were on our community in Minneapolis this year as we prepared to host the 52nd Annual Super Bowl. Here at Time Into Pixels Photography, we were thrilled to play a part in the week’s celebration, specifically as red carpet photography Minneapolis photographers at
the Superb Owl Event, held two days prior to the big game. Perfectly planned by
Festivities and hosted at the breathtaking venue
Windows On Minnesota, this event offered an opportunity for guests to share their love of America’s favorite sport and raise money for various charities at the same time.

You wouldn’t have seen our typical open style photo booth at this event. Instead, our client pulled out all the stops by providing their guests with our red carpet photography package. As guests arrived at the glamorous 50th floor of the IDS Center, they were immediately whisked away to our formal portrait setup, complete with a red carpet style backdrop featuring the names of the event hosts,
Winspire and
Athletes First. These red carpet formals are a great way to create lasting memories for each guest while providing the client with advertising at the same time! That evening was no exception, as our immediate printing capabilities allowed excited guests to show off their celebrity-style images to their friends, either in print or via social media platforms.
Since we were also the event photographer for the evening, our client knew we would be documenting each moment with the class and style it deserved. From the delicious hors-d’oeuvres and open bar to the awe-inspiring view overlooking downtown Minneapolis and US Bank Stadium, our roaming photographer was there to capture it all. And of course, the story of the evening wouldn’t be complete without photos of the guests mingling with NFL Viking players Kyle Rudolph, Harrison Smith, Trae Waynes, Michael Floyd, Everson Griffen, Anthony Barr, and Kai Forbath.
