We at Time Into Pixels Photography love our open style photo booth because it works for many different styles of events whether a wedding or corporate event. Time Into Pixels wants to make sure you have fun and then check out those memories later.
Along with The Star Tribune, we were recently at Minnesota’s own Guthrie Theater. This summer the venue will be showcasing their rendition of 1961’s West Side Story this summer; To celebrate that, they invited none other than Chita Rivera -most will recognize her as Anita from West Side Story- to the Guthrie, hot on her lifetime Tony Award win this past Monday.
Along with the Guthrie, we were able to create a large, inviting space for all the partygoers to make memories.
The great thing about our open style photo booth is that your imagination is it’s only limit. In this case, we were able to create a space where you could fit more than ten people and looked just as good with one or two. The Guthrie went as far as working with us to make a custom border that suited their needs for the special occasion. It both met The Guthrie’s standards while showing some of the characters you could see from Chita in any of her roles. In addition, with the backdrop, we were able to give credit to all of the great companies that made the night possible.
The event at The Guthrie showed just how great our open style booth works in an upscale setting that isn’t a wedding or your normal corporate party. Whether it’s our open style photo booth or our more traditional one, guests can step and see how great they look at their event, or in the case of a wedding, let their hair down, throw on silly spectacles and grab the prop of their choice.
Here at Time Into Pixels, we believe that business conferences should sparkle and shine; there’s no reason to limit yourself to coffee and bland chit-chat. We recently helped Experience Minnesota go beyond the usual at a company event taking place at the Radisson Blu Mall of America Hotel. With our slow motion booth MN services, we were able to capture the fun and excitement that the employees of Experience Minnesota exuded!
Something New
A photo booth is always a great addition to a party or conference, but we take it a step further with our slow motion booth Minneapolis area services. A slow motion booth can give conference-goers an opportunity to let off steam in a healthy, exciting way, and they’ll have a souvenir to show for it! With the props we provided, like confetti, boxing gloves, and fake money, the Experience Minnesota group were able to make an awesome video that allowed them to show off their wild side and bond while celebrating their company.
Cool Marketing
Not only did they get a cool video to remember their event with, but the Experience Minnesota company made use of our extra features which allowed the final slow-motion video to be branded with their company logo and music to be added. This makes the video a great marketing tool; they will be able to showcase the best, brightest, most exciting side of their company with our professionally edited slow motion video. Their enjoyment of their work shines through as they have fun together!
Whether it’s for a personal event, like a wedding or anniversary party, or something more corporate, like a conference, Time Into Pixels can add pizzazz through our slow motion booth MN services. Check out the Experience Minnesota video to see a sample of our work, and get ready to enjoy your own slow-motion video fun!
One of the best parts of working in the photo booth industry is the opportunity we have to form relationships and friendships with new clients every day. When we were asked to bring our photo booth rental to a recent wedding between Shabnam and Muhammadali, we were brought together with one of the kindest couples and families we’ve had the privilege of working with at Time Into Pixels.
Wedding Photo Booth Rental at St. Paul’s Landmark Center
This three-day wedding was such a unique and beautiful event to participate in, as it showcased traditional Easter African/Indian traditions. Each day, the stunning bride arrived at the event in a new customary dress, a complete encapsulation of their culture and background. The first day held the pre-wedding henna ceremony, while the second day featured the wedding ceremony itself. For the third day, the weddings parties were ready for a fun reception to celebrate the special newlyweds, and as part of that day’s festivities, they decided to use our open style photo booth to add energy and entertainment to the day.
In keeping with the red and gold linen colors at the reception, provided by Ultimate Events, the couple selected our sparkling gold backdrop for their open style photo booth and a deep red border with a gold font for the photo strips. Guests were invited to form groups, select a prop (such as oversized glasses or dollar bills, signs, and comical hats), and put on their best smiles for the camera. Not only did the experience create lasting memories for friends and family of the newlyweds, but the instant photo strips each participant received of their three images also acted as a fantastic souvenir from the celebration.
The venue for this sweet couple’s wedding was St. Paul’s historic Landmark Center, a cultural center for a plethora of events ranging from music to dance to exhibitions to weddings. With its remarkable turrets, gables, and towers, and the 5-story open courtyard inside, it was a spectacular site for this special occasion. In addition to the exceptional venue, the couple treated the guests with delicious Indian/Easter African food and chai, catered by Roseville’s India Palace, and delectable cakes from The Copper Hen for dessert.
At Time Into Pixels, we love bringing the spirit and enthusiasm of our photo booth to any special occasion. If you are interested in how we can customize a photo booth to fit your next event, please inquire today for more information!

It is always a privilege when a couple chooses to use our photo booth to add excitement and laughter to their special day!
Wedding Photo Booth Rental at the Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens
Recently we had the chance to participate in a stunning wedding at the Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens, a premier Minnesota event center located on the Mississippi River. This venue hosts two outdoor wedding locations, including a charming scenic area located beside the river and a beautiful suspended deck with a breathtaking panoramic view of the bluffs and Mississippi River. It also features an interior 5,062 square foot ballroom, complete with elegant chandeliers, large decorative mirrors, and ceiling-to-floor windows that offer ample warmth and light during every season.
With such an amazing venue as the backdrop for our open style photo booth, our bride and groom opted to keep the booth simple, using a solid grey background for the images. This also allowed each image to focus on the fun and spirit of the wedding, which centered on a superhero theme. Guests at the wedding joined together to create their own team of superheroes and completed the look by utilizing one of our themed props, including superhero masks, Captain America’s shield, Thor’s hammer, and an assortment of signs and oversized glasses. The resulting photo strip images made for unforgettable keepsakes for each guest, as they highlighted the joy of the evening through beaming smiles and laughing faces.
Our photo booth rentals are the perfect addition to wedding receptions, as they provide entertainment, humor, and memorable souvenirs for the guests while being fully customizable to complement the feel and style of each couple’s special day. Here at Time Into Pixel Photography and Photo Booth, we are always looking to build our portfolio. We don’t let quirky ideas or photos that are rather difficult to render get in the way of us trying to form lasting relationships with new clients, so when we got the opportunity to do a unique creative photo activation we were more than happy to take up the challenge such as this vibrant larger than life creative photo activation in Minneapolis.
Vibrant Larger than Life Creative Photo Activation In Minneapolis
The idea for this unique photographic experience manifested with the help of the brilliant minds at Metro Connections, who aim to create the most satisfactory experiences at all of their events and conferences. This time, they were working with the leading global biotechnology company known as Novozymes. Novozymes, who are extremely passionate about using enzymes to enhance everyday products people use on a regular basis like laundry detergent, was interested in pursuing a “laundry room” theme for their creative photoactivation at the Muse Event Center, a prestigious location for events taking place in Minneapolis.
To create the rendered results, the planners at Metro Connections constructed large-scale beige furniture and juxtaposed it against vivid clothes and props. Novozymes requested that the people being photographed appear to be at different distances from the camera, so we utilized tables of varying sizes and took photos at multiple angles in order to create optical illusions and establish realism in the photos.
Although a new challenge for us, we were excited to be able to expand our catalog of work and the end results coincided with Novozymes’s vision. They left satisfied with their pictures which were striking and engaging, capturing fun individuals who were laughing and smiling. The photos also were very bright and playful thanks to the brilliant colors of the clothes and props utilized throughout the photoactivation. These colors helped to create unique focal-points for viewers so they will be drawn into the pictures automatically.
Since the first photo booth opened nearly one hundred years ago, they’ve been a consistently popular way to take quick pictures of a person or a pair—or a larger group, if they don’t mind the squeeze. As photo booths evolved from fixtures at malls or arcades to being rented out for different types of events, the drawback of the tiny space evolved as well, into the open-style photo booth. There are lots of opportunities to create a unique experience with this booth and a custom photo booth backdrop is one of them.
Custom Photo Booth Backdrop
Now we have a new version of that open-space booth, personalized for our state: The Minnesota Custom Booth Backdrop, originally developed for Super Bowl LII festivities. Whether the subjects are a couple or more people than could dream of fitting in an old-style booth, the Minnesota cut-out accommodates as many people as you need—if a group is especially large, the open-space nature of the booth lets more people comfortably stand in front of the backdrop and show their Minnesota pride together.
As a Minneapolis-based company, we understand the connection Minnesotans have to their state, and the interest visitors have in us. Even people who shy away from photo booths frequently see the Minnesota backdrop and say, “Now that’s a picture I’m willing to take.” No matter what kind of event you’re planning—corporate meetings, weddings, or anything in-between—the Minnesota backdrop is something that will make people go home and tell the people who weren’t there, “I saw the most interesting thing…” In the end, that’s what you want: attendees who go home with memories of your work. It feels good on a personal level, and when someone else needs an event planned, they’ll want to know who ran the event with that one unique thing they remember so clearly.
That could be you. Contact us to find out more about employing an open-style photo booth, and the Minnesota backdrop, at your next event.
