Recently, Time Into Pixels Photography and Photo Booth received a client request for a photo opt at the Gillette Hospital for the children residing. We teamed up with BeEvents to make the day special. We are happy to say that the event was exciting and memorable with our live printing. For the children who spent their holiday at the hospital, our client wanted them to feel included in the holiday spirit and to have fun!
To create this event, we set up and decorated an area and invited special guests to spend time with the children. Twin players and Mascot were able to come and the kids had the chance to take a beautiful 5×7 photo with a player.
After each child took their photo, they received a 5×7 print. This large sized print makes it the perfect choice for the holidays. In addition, they are smudge and water resistant free. Another few perks to live printing is including a hashtag for Instagram or Twitter. After the event, you can download and share your images in an online gallery. Here are some examples.
At this particular event, the images were printed on our luxury metallic paper, which gave the images a beautiful and unique finish. Metallic photo paper produces a striking in-depth effect to the quality of the photographs. It is a wonderful paper to use for an event that you want to make memorable. Once the image was taken, we inserted it into a custom photo folder, for each child to take home. These small touches brought the experience to a whole new level.

Time Into Pixels had the pleasure to do live photography with printing at a party for a client at the Mall of America. It was a private event for attendees to take a photo with Santa Claus. As guests walked in, they saw an intimate scene with white present decorations surrounding Santa. Purple ornaments covered Santa’s slay, where he was sat. We made sure to promote the style and brand of our client. However, we also had the colors remain truthful to Christmas while also complimenting the client’s brand color in a unique way. For this event, families could take 4×6 photos with Santa and to their excitement, the photos were immediately printable. It was wonderful because not only were images easily accessible, but guests could upload a digital print from their phone in case they wanted to post it on social media or send to a family member.
One of the sweetest moments of the event was the kids telling Santa their wishes for Christmas. It was wonderful to feel the Christmas spirit! In addition, our event was the first time for some babies to have their photo taken with Santa Claus!

Our Photo Station Rental in Minneapolis Helped Create a Dream
On October 24th, the second annual Minnesota Sports Awards was held in Minneapolis. It was also our second year at the event, where we captured the fun by providing our red carpet photography with printing. Held at U.S. Bank Stadium, the 2018 Minnesota Sports Awards honored high school, college, and professional athletes in the North Star State. Hosts for the Sports Awards were FOX Sports North anchor Anthony LaPanta, NFL legend Ahmad Rashad, and Rethink The Win founder Lea B. Olson.
We set up our red carpet photography right by the registration area. When guests first arrived, they could have their picture taken straight away, before they started to mingle. Guests could opt to pose by themselves, with friends, or even squeeze in next to mascots like Goldy Gopher or the Wild’s Nordy.
Besides red carpet photography, we also provided our hashtag printing services. Both before and at the Sports Awards, social media users tagged their photos with #mnsportsawards. At the event, our hashtag printer automatically printed all tagged photos. Our event photography rounded out the trio of professional photography services we provided this year. We can’t wait to go back next year!

An event at the Minikahda Club we had the privilege of taking pictures of children sitting on Santa’s lap. Because there were minor children, we cannot show the actual pictures, but imagine little kids eagerly waiting their turn, thinking of all the things they want to ask for. Excited and a little nervous, each one scrambles onto Santa’s lap, keeping an eye on their parents to make sure they’re close. For some, it was the first time, making it even more special. Big, toothless smiles, hesitant eyes, a few tears, and lengthy talks of toys and games were caught on camera, and the parents were able to walk away with copies, both physical and digital. Having the picture in their hand and being able to share it with grandparents, family, friends, and the world on social media immediately made it even more enjoyable. There is no waiting for pictures to be developed, hoping it’s good.
Beautiful backdrops, lighting, and props all play a part in the feel of each photo. For this event at the Minikahda Club, we used a winter backdrop showing a glistening, snow-covered evergreen tree. A Christmas tree delicately decorated with gold ornaments and tinsel stood next to an antique chair.

Time Into Pixels Photography and Photo Booth was proud to provide our open style photo booth and live photography service to The Mayo Clinic for the screening of the PBS documentary The Mayo Clinic: Faith – Hope – Science. The documentary follows the life of The Mayo Clinic’s founder Dr. W. W. Mayo. We returned to the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN, where we had the pleasure of photographing three years ago at their grand opening. This time we provided customized photo booths featuring the documentary’s director and title to commemorate the film’s release on the 25th of September 2018, 9-11 pm on your local PBS station. The two-hour film features the voices of celebrated actors Tom Hanks, Sam Waterston, Blythe Danner, and Josh Lucas.
Our customized step-and-repeat photo booth stations at the VIP reception sported a custom navy backdrop of the film’s director and title in gold. The two stations blended perfectly with the elegance of the screenings decor and the wall of windows at the Mayo Civic center.
We also provided three identical photo booth stations in the main reception area that was open to the public. Each station had a backdrop of a beautiful red curtain and a navy frame with the director, title, and release date written in gold. At the request of The Mayo Clinic, we provided three printing stations with free 4×6 prints in customized folders, free of charge to the public.
The family-friendly event boasted 5000 attendees, many of whom enjoyed our step-and-repeat live photography and photo booths in Rochester. Following the event, the public enjoyed the screening of the documentary, followed by a drone show.
