Photography can be an exceptional tool for brands and corporations in more ways than you might expect. That was the case with our photot activation at Target Field, where we were able to help our clients show their employees a good time and simultaneously promote their brand with photoactivation.
Event at Target Field
This annual event for our client provides a fun and festive atmosphere for their employees who’re enjoying it as an annual company event. The entire stadium is reserved for guests to enjoy as they help themselves to food, drinks, and family-friendly activities. There are bounce houses for kids, hot chocolate and coffee, and several photo ops. This year we had three photo activation stations, each with its own unique twist and brand awareness potential.
The first was using the stadium as a backdrop with a sign that read “Welcome To The Target Field.” The simplest of the three, but it gave guests a good opportunity to share where they’d been. The 2nd booth was even more exciting. As guests posed, we were able to project them onto the stadium’s massive jumbotron screen and photograph their images from afar. This was particularly exciting for the children and baseball fans present, who could relish their images on the screen and share the moment with family and friends afterward. Finally, our 3rd booth was located in the Bat and Barrel restaurant. This one featured a branded Boomerang kiosk, further enhancing the visual reach of their brand. Each of the three kiosks featured logos and branding from all our clients, putting their images alongside those of our guests while a good time was had by all.

Having the chance to work for such a broad range of clients gives us the opportunity to explore equally as many new and exciting themes. For some clients, green screens are a fun way to present a unique backdrop that speaks directly to their brand. Green screens can take a photo activation event anywhere the mind could conceive. From the most exotic locations on earth to the most abstract spaces you could imagine. One of our recent events demonstrated just how effective the green screen can be. It transported participants from a seemingly normal photo booth to a beautiful forest bike trail. The Magic Of Green Screens
We’ve had the chance to work with plenty of exciting backdrops and themes from working in the business of corporate photo activation in Minneapolis. Usually, our photos are set against a pre-designed scene meant to complement or enhance the overall concept of the event itself. That was true with this event as well, only instead of seeing a deliberately crafted backdrop, participants only initially saw the green screen. This allowed us to surprise them with the intended backdrop as their photo was being taken.
Because the event was bike-themed, we used the green screen to transport participants onto a bike riding down a woodland trail. People were amazed and delighted once they noticed what we’d done. The surprise really managed to produce a lot of genuine smiles and enthusiasm for the occasion. It was a great example of green screens at their best. It turned what seemed like a regular photo activation into an unexpectedly amusing experience.

Halo Photo Booth Rental In Minneapolis at The Hutton House
Mom Boss is more than just a run. It’s an annual event that empowers, encourages, and supports women in our community. This year it took place at The Hutton House and participants had an option to run beautiful trails or Medicine Lake, or even participate virtually. After the race, everyone had some time to spend at the Hutton House and to enjoy mimosas, coffee, and donuts as well as some photo booth fun. The event was beautifully executed by our friends at Covey Events and our Boomerang photo booth rental added some fun!
Making Your Rental Extra Special
While we have more than 20 upscale backdrops to choose from, we love custom backdrops when we do our rentals. It makes the images, Boomerang and GIFs so much more extra special. For Mom Boss 5K, we had a gorgeous handmade mural illustration by Spoonful of Faith. The piece was an absolute wow factor!
Rental Details
With each of our halo photo booths, you can record Boomerangs, GIFs, or take photos. Custom templates are included in all the rentals and you can add digital props for extra fun. For brands, we are able to customize the booth itself adding a branded wrap to keep your brand front and center. This booth can be rented unattended or include our staff member for a full photo booth experience. Output can be texted or emailed to each participant and the gallery of all of the images is available at the end of the event.
This type of booth is digital-only and doesn’t include prints (after all, you can’t print GIFs and Boomerangs). With that being said, they will make your events the talk of the town!

The Coolest Boomerang Booth for Metro by T-Mobile Ever!
When it comes to brand awareness, the way to gain attention is to keep people entertained. This is exactly what we did when we were invited recently to take part in a photoactivation for Metro by T-Mobile. This event was a part of the recent UFC fight night and took place at the Target Center. With only a few days to prepare, we created the coolest boomerang booth for Metro by T-Mobile Ever!
The First Round: Add The Boomerang Booth
This is a client that we loved working with and hope to work with again in the future. Metro by T-Mobile contacted us stating that they had a custom photo op set up for Fight Night at the Target Center. They were looking for a way to make it more fun and needed us to capture people posing with an actual UFC championship belt!
We were thrilled by the idea. Our creative energy consumed us and we thought it was so cool to have an actual UFC belt as a prop. Therefore, we happily offered our Boomerang kiosk as well as some branding added in for added brand awareness and pizzazz.
Round Two Kicks In
Before the event opened, we showed up with our equipment and set everything in place. Once people began to arrive, the real pre-UFC Fight Night party started. Once people discovered that they could take photos, GIFs, and Boomerangs with a real UFC Championship belt, they were excited. They also enjoyed having the option to text the images and GIFs to themselves and share them instantly on social media.
With a consistent line at all times, the turnout was amazing. Even the background with T-Mobile and Metro logos made the “fight photos” more impressive. It made them feel like true champions for a moment and they will feel like champions every time they see their boomerangs.
During the time we were there, more than 500 photos and boomerangs were captured. People were laughing, sharing, and coming back for a second photo op.
Round Three: The End Result
When people stepped out of the photo booth, they had created their own memories of the event. They were walking out of the photo area with a smile. Their photos and GIFs were shared so that family and friends would be envious of all the fun they missed out on. In the future, at another UFC Fight Night, those friends may decide to take part in it, as well as other events hosted by Metro and T-Mobile.
