For Cate and Jake’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency Downtown in Minneapolis, we customized the booth adding personalized graphics on the front of the booth. Our couple had the booth for 3 hours and at the end of the night, they received an album full of well wishes and photo strips from their guests. Our photo booth attendant made sure each guest got a copy of a photo strip and a password-protected gallery with all the photos taken during the night. Hyatt Regency Downtown Minneapolis provided a perfect location for this modern wedding as well and the couple did a beautiful job putting everything together for their special day.

When you think of the 80s, what comes to mind? Neon colors, big hair, cassette tapes, and preppy sunglasses. Now imagine yourself at an 80s party, dressed to kill, and posing for some totally rad photos under the neon lights…We can make that dream a reality; with a neon photo booth!

Rock the Gala Goes 80s

The 2019 Rock the Gala party for the Results Foundation rocked out at the Lumber Exchange Event Center in Minneapolis. As this was an 80s-themed party, the guests were invited to dress in glam rock attire and be prepared for a gnarly good time. We brought our open style photo booth, so guests could get an awesome memento of their evening in the rocking 80s!

A Neon Photo Booth Made Especially for the Party

We added some pizzazz to our photo booth by equipping it with neon lights. The bright lights shone across the guests’ faces as they posed, creating a look worthy of the 1980s. Since many of the guests were already dressed up 80s-style, the neon glam really added to the shiny, disco-like effect. Our photo props added to the fun by supplying the guests with funky wigs, oversized mics, rocking-good hats, megaphones, and beautiful big sunglasses. We enjoyed snapping the photos almost as much as the guests enjoyed posing!

Modern weddings have both the liberty and luxury to try new things, which can be a fantastic way to make the event stand out. It also makes us excited, as a photo booth business, to work with such original and unique concepts, which can turn out quite beautiful. One wedding at the Minikahda Club particularly stood out. It featured an open style photo booth with a custom backdrop designed by Event Lab. It perfectly blended with the occasion’s theme and helped create an array of genuinely fine photos.

A Lush, Classical Scene

The wedding itself was classically themed with the perfect blend of white, ivory, and greenery adorning nearly every aspect. The backdrop that was used worked immensely well with these colors. It was the bride’s idea to pose on a couch with a hedge wall in the background, which worked nicely for both large and small groups. The couch itself was ivory, which, along with the hedge, matched the rest of the wedding perfectly. The couple even ordered the creation of a custom monogram for their photo strips that fit in just as seamlessly. It was a one-of-a-kind display that blended and balanced every aspect with natural elegance.

Prince-Themed Photo Booth Rental in Minnesota

During the first weekend in April, all eyes were on downtown Minneapolis for the NCAA Final Four. While the rest of the country was either cheering the stunning wins of Virginia and Texas Tech or nursing their wounds for Auburn and Michigan State, VIP guests got a taste of hometown pride with a Prince-themed party at Erik the Red. Purple Rain

We had a lot of fun working with our client, Meet Minneapolis, on the Prince-themed party. Prince is a Minnesota icon, and it was essential to get all of the details right in order to celebrate this pop legend. Our custom photo booth included props like an electric guitar and purple rain clouds. We also provided signs with that read “You’re filthy cute,” and “Dearly beloved”. The photos were further customized with a purple border, another homage to the late rock star.
