This past August, we at Time Into Pixels were delighted to be a part of H&R’s wedding day with our open style photo booth. The event was held in the backyard of their gorgeous private estate within a white tent. The dazzling array of floral arrangements and overhanging greenery from Sadies Couture Floral really enhanced the overall beauty of the event. The fauna-related theme designed by Sally Berry and Co made the whole place seem that much more alive and conformed brilliantly with the well-manicured natural setting.
Our Open Style Photo Booth
For their special day, R and H opted to use our open style photo booth. The selected white backdrop matched perfectly with the canopy overhanging the event itself, and the 4×6 prints fit seamlessly into the theme with three exquisitely cute pictures. The bride and groom posed beautifully together for these pictures, creating the perfect image to represent their union and preserve its memory for years to come. It was our delight to provide them with this experience and do our part to contribute to the event as they intended it to be.
A Seamless Wedding Theme
Everything from this event blended together magnificently to create an experience the bride and groom couldn’t forget. The silver and gold table settings interspaced between the stunning fauna arrangements made it seem like more like an ornate royal garden. Our photo booth fit in perfectly, offering a regal white template handpicked to match the natural majesty of the occasion. Screening of The Mayo Clinic: Faith – Hope – Science
Time Into Pixels Photography and Photo Booth was proud to provide our open style photo booth and live photography service to The Mayo Clinic for the screening of the PBS documentary The Mayo Clinic: Faith – Hope – Science. The documentary follows the life of The Mayo Clinic’s founder Dr. W. W. Mayo. We returned to the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN, where we had the pleasure of photographing three years ago at their grand opening. This time we provided customized photo booths featuring the documentary’s director and title to commemorate the film’s release on the 25th of September 2018, 9-11 pm on your local PBS station. The two-hour film features the voices of celebrated actors Tom Hanks, Sam Waterston, Blythe Danner, and Josh Lucas.
Open Style Photo Booth and Live Photography in Rochester
Our customized step-and-repeat photo booth stations at the VIP reception sported a custom navy backdrop of the film’s director and title in gold. The two stations blended perfectly with the elegance of the screenings decor and the wall of windows at the Mayo Civic center.
We also provided three identical photo booth stations in the main reception area that was open to the public. Each station had a backdrop of a beautiful red curtain and a navy frame with the director, title, and release date written in gold. At the request of The Mayo Clinic, we provided three printing stations with free 4×6 prints in customized folders, free of charge to the public.
The family-friendly event boasted 5000 attendees, many of whom enjoyed our step-and-repeat live photography and photo booths in Rochester. Following the event, the public enjoyed the screening of the documentary, followed by a drone show. We at Time Into Pixels Photography and Photo Booth are proud to have helped to make the screening of the historic film a memorable and elegant event for the film’s creators, The Mayo Clinic and the public.

Here at Time Into Pixels, we love that our open style photo booth is the perfect fit for an array of events. Though we provide photo booth rentals for occasions of any size, it is always exciting when we to get to join in the frenzy and fun of an event hosting over 3500 people! Recently, we had the privilege of bringing our services to the thousands of people who participated in the Beautycounter 2018 Leadership Summit, held at The Armory in our beloved home city of Minneapolis.
Each backdrop for the event was a custom-made creation from event production and design house Maven and added just the right flair for this special occasion. Two of the backdrops utilized solid white backgrounds with balloon letter messages, while the other two were fresh floral walls. Each of the backdrops highlighted some of the Beautycounter themes, such as “Be Counter”, “Beauty Should Be Good For You”, “No Secrets Added”, and lastly, the company title “Beautycounter.”
With so many consultants participating in the event (and due to having photo booth areas in multiple areas of the venue), our cameras were constantly clicking, capturing the enthusiasm of the guests for the entire five hours that we were there!
For the hosting company, these photo booths were a great way to spread excitement at the event, as well as act as a marketing tool to spread awareness of their brand. First, each person who participated in one of the four photo booths received an instant print of their images to keep as a souvenir from the Leadership Summit. These images showcased a collage of pictures from their session, as well as the Beautycounter title and event name. Also, thanks to our social media station, each guest could instantly share these collage prints with their friends and acquaintances on a variety of social media platforms.
This Summit was a prime example of how our photo booth rentals can assist any event in capturing the joy of its guests and providing a great source of entertainment, all while promoting a brand both during and after the event’s conclusion. Weddings are a commitment, a celebration, and the beginning of a new journey. When Jessica and Nels told us that they need a photo booth for their Paikka Wedding, they told us they wanted a night to remember. Beyond the traditional dinner and dancing, they wanted playful fun and entertainment that guests would never forget. That’s why they rented a photo booth for their intimate Paikka reception.
Paikka Wedding
The venue, located in the heart of the Twin Cities, offers an industrial-chic event space with exposed brick walls and steel vaulted ceilings. With a maximum of 200 guests for a seated dinner reception, the space is ample enough to accommodate both intimate events and larger-scale affairs. Paikka weddings allow flexibility when selecting caterers, with no limited list of potentially pricey “preferred vendors” to choose from. The licensed, insured caterer of your choice is welcome to set up in the kitchen space.
And the venue is committed to making your event your own: they’ll create a custom floor plan from the available spaces to help you realize your vision for the day. The Gold and Pink rooms are separated by large doors adorned with a striking mural. Outside, a small patio strung with lights allows your guests to catch a breath of fresh air.
The Photo Booth
For Jessica and Nels, a photo booth rental was the right choice. Photo booth stations offer a chance for guests to co-mingle, group up, and let their silly sides loose with props and accessories. For this wedding, the couple chose our open-style photo booth to allow for a custom backdrop. Instead of a red curtain or a painted backdrop, we let the venue’s flowers and greenery show through in every printout. The couple and their guests won’t forget those custom decorations!
As the evening progressed, every guest got their moment behind the camera. They formed and re-formed groups of three or four and swapped props like Viking helmets, giant sunglasses, and sequined top hats. Whether holding signs that said “Hurry, cut the cake!” or “Wedding crasher,” it’s clear they’re having a blast in every photo. But not every guest had to sacrifice their dignity: some couples took the opportunity to pose in their formal wear for a more romantic keepsake. Others did a little of both– one formal, one goofy– for the best of both worlds.
To make their photo booth rental even more memorable, Jessica and Nels had each printout customized with their initials and the date. Every photo doubled as a special souvenir of a very special night.
