We recently had the wonderful opportunity to be at a gathering of Rising Tide Society Retreat with our digital photo booth in Minneapolis. We had a ton of fun! The Rising Tide Society is an inspiring community of creatives and small business owners who gather locally each month. They share strategies, support one another, and provide feedback and advice to each other using their own experiences. Their motto is “Community Over Competition” and they are all about support within their local business communities. It’s truly an inspiring group of people! We were honored to be able to help them have a little fun at their Minneapolis event.
The event itself was held at Paikka in St. Anthony Park, a beautiful and open venue with a modern industrial vibe. Jessica Wonders planned the event and we attended on the second day with our digital photo booth.

Rock the Gala Goes 80s
The 2019 Rock the Gala party for the Results Foundation rocked out at the Lumber Exchange Event Center in Minneapolis. As this was an 80s-themed party, the guests were invited to dress in glam rock attire and be prepared for a gnarly good time. We brought our open style photo booth, so guests could get an awesome memento of their evening in the rocking 80s!
A Neon Photo Booth Made Especially for the Party
We added some pizzazz to our photo booth by equipping it with neon lights. The bright lights shone across the guests’ faces as they posed, creating a look worthy of the 1980s. Since many of the guests were already dressed up 80s-style, the neon glam really added to the shiny, disco-like effect. Our photo props added to the fun by supplying the guests with funky wigs, oversized mics, rocking-good hats, megaphones, and beautiful big sunglasses. We enjoyed snapping the photos almost as much as the guests enjoyed posing!

We can not say enough about this rustic, beautiful, intimate space! Our open style photo booth set up well in the small nook allowing for a wonderful experience for the event. The wedding event was a beautiful celebration, with The Copper Hen providing the atmosphere with creative style, dancing floor space, and a gorgeous looking cake. They offer a smaller space for receptions, but they don’t scale back on the fun. With the glorious dark wood bar located in the back of the open room, your guests have access to that open bar you promised them. Read the story of The Copper Hen on the beautiful chalkboard hanging on the wall. Woodsy decorations for fall or winter weddings complement the decor already in the room. The guest had a wonderful time with the background and props chosen to compliment the wedding.
