Our Photo Station Rental in Minneapolis Helped Create a Dream

“Are you sure that we are awake? It seems to me that yet we sleep, we dream.” As quoted in William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer’s Night Dream.” This was the theme for an exclusive, upscale event that was held recently at the Aria MPLS, a venue that provides old-world elegance combined with new-world chic. When the client, Chad Hudson Events on behalf of HBO and AT&T, reached out to us, their request was both simple and intriguing. Their client wanted an open style photo booth that would support the party’s theme, “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”. The event would be held during the HITEC conference. We were very excited that they chose our photo station rental in Minneapolis to help turn a dream into a reality.

Creating a Dream

ARIA is a place where dreams are made and this event would be no different. We were thrilled that our newest client wanted our photo station rental Minneapolis to create the illusion that would only be enhanced by the entertainment that would be provided for their exclusive guest list. In order to stay true to the theme, they requested a custom backdrop be made from fresh moss. This backdrop would compliment people who would be dressed as fairs, trees, butterflies, and other “characters”.

It took a ton of fresh floral to transform this industrial venue into a “dream place” but they succeeded and then we enhanced it with our photo booth. In fact, the photographs were so beautiful with their mossy backdrop, that we did 4×6 prints that would show off how impressive it was. We also added a text sharing option so that guests could share it on social media.

Changing Reality

As a part of the text-sharing option that we provided, a couple of logos were added to the bottom of each picture. These logos were for AT&T and #HBOatHITEC. The logos did not take away the beauty of the photographs at all. In fact, it served only to enhance them. As an added bonus, it increased brand awareness for all the people involved in making it happen.

The purpose of a photo booth is primarily to allow people to have fun. This backdrop allowed them to have photos of themselves in a new, exceptional place that they may have never seen before. For a moment in time, thanks to HBO at HITEC and AT&T, this place was a dream and all of their friends on social media platforms would see it.

Dreams Meet Reality

Shakespeare once said in The Winter’s Tale, “Dreams are toys.” Our job as photoactivation specialists for this event was to use our photo station rental Minneapolis to turn the toy into the dream. We also gave credit where it was due – to HBO and AT&T, as well as HITEC and the Aria MPLS. Without them, the event would not have been possible. We would not have had the pure pleasure of becoming part of this event.

Pepsi Hosted a Party That Included an Open Style Photo Booth in Minneapolis

When Pepsi throws a party, you expect it to be big. During March Madness, the night before the final game, Pepsi flew in its employees and organized a large, luxurious party at the Aria. The celebration included delicious food, great music and, of course, some open style photo booth fun! The hall was filled with elegant decor that perfectly juxtaposed with the industrial feel of the brick walls and exposed pipes.

Because Pepsi chose to use our Open Style Photo Booth, we didn’t compete with the decor. Instead, we fit right in with the open, airy feel of the venue and their customized background complemented the color scheme of the event.

Pepsi wanted their photo booth rental to include a single, 4×6 print with a white background and company branding. To keep it fun and light, we added some props and GIFS that guests were able to play with.

Minnesota Photo Booth With Text Message Sharing: A Snug Winter Gathering

Recently, we at Time Into Pixels had the pleasure of helping Twin Cities Orthopedic with their 10th annual holiday gathering with one of our open style photo booths with text message sharing. We love helping out with events like these and providing guests with fantastic fun photos to share with their family and friends. One of the things that made this event so special was the digital sharing capabilities of our booth. This allowed guests to receive and share their photos right away after being taken.

A Pleasant Evening Amid Snowy Weather

It was a particularly snowy night, but inside the Minikahda Club where the event was held, it was warm and cozy. Dim lights, candles, and Christmas tree lights provided a comfortably lit atmosphere amid the holiday decorations and festivities. A custom backdrop designed by Girl Friday Creative was waiting for us as we arrived, featuring specially selected colors of dazzling purple and violet hues against a white background, as well as a large acrylic TCO logo spread across it. As the guests socialized and mingled, they were able to get a few glamorous red carpet style photos in front of this backdrop with our event photographer before dinner. Once they left for their dinner and program, our team got to work setting up our open style photo booth with text message sharing. We also added a few holiday props into the mix, giving this formal occasion an extra dash of merrymaking. Our event photographer continued to take photos while the rest of the team made ready to entertain. Once the meal was finished, guests were able to return for more images and were able to receive their printouts on the spot. They were also given the chance to email or text their photos and GIFs to themselves right away. This instant digital sharing is great for posting to social media and getting your pictures without the wait. It was wonderful to provide guests with such convenience amid this perfectly snug gathering on a cold winter night.

Special Events

For some events, like weddings or birthdays, it is important for guests to sign and write their wishes on the spot. For other events such as corporate parties or other occasions, it can be lovely to have all the photos in one book, but signing by the guests doesn’t necessarily make sense. This is exactly what our books are for! Each book will contain every single photo booth picture taken during your event. It’s a high-quality keepsake or coffee table book to help you remember the event and everyone that attended.

Custom Photo Booth Books

Each book can be customized to your specifications that fit your special event or party. They will be Hard Cover Press Books (high-quality photo books that have amazing image reproduction) made with magazine style press papers and they will be perfectly bound at the spine. You’ll be able to choose from a number of beautiful and colorful cover options, including the foil stamping on the front. We will also offer the choice between Eurohyde or Art Cloth covers (with different colors!), as well as options for the paper including matte, semi-gloss, or linen. The default size is 10×8, but we can offer smaller or bigger books for smaller or bigger parties.

Open Style Photo Booth: Chita Rivera’s Celebration at the Guthrie Theater

We at Time Into Pixels Photography love our open style photo booth because it works for many different styles of events whether a wedding or corporate event. Time Into Pixels wants to make sure you have fun and then check out those memories later.

Along with The Star Tribune, we were recently at Minnesota’s own Guthrie Theater. This summer the venue will be showcasing their rendition of 1961’s West Side Story this summer; To celebrate that, they invited none other than Chita Rivera -most will recognize her as Anita from West Side Story- to the Guthrie, hot on her lifetime Tony Award win this past Monday.

Along with the Guthrie, we were able to create a large, inviting space for all the partygoers to make memories.

The great thing about our open style photo booth is that your imagination is it’s only limit. In this case, we were able to create a space where you could fit more than ten people and looked just as good with one or two. The Guthrie went as far as working with us to make a custom border that suited their needs for the special occasion. It both met The Guthrie’s standards while showing some of the characters you could see from Chita in any of her roles. In addition, with the backdrop, we were able to give credit to all of the great companies that made the night possible.

The event at The Guthrie showed just how great our open style booth works in an upscale setting that isn’t a wedding or your normal corporate party. Whether it’s our open style photo booth or our more traditional one, guests can step and see how great they look at their event, or in the case of a wedding, let their hair down, throw on silly spectacles and grab the prop of their choice.
